Mandy started her career in 2010 as a full time Veterinary Nurse with being awarded the Outstanding Student Award upon completion of her Cert IV, and later joined the Great Western Animal Hospital team in 2018 as a Senior RVN.

She has since become Fear Free Certified (Level 3) and has a passion for making a positive impact on the mental and physical wellbeing of animals.

Despite enjoying all aspects of Veterinary Nursing, Mandy has a particular interest in Anaesthesia and is a member of the Association of Veterinary Anaesthetists to further increase her knowledge and skills.

Mandy is owned by a Staffy named Axle, who she absolutely adores and couldn’t imagine life without. She believes he is the reason she is a vet nurse today.

In her spare time you’ll find her exploring the outdoors, painting or with her head in a text book (vet nurse related, of course!).
